Hi Randall,
Can you try net use LPT1: \\tsclient\PrinterName where PrinterName is
the device name you gave it on the -r printer:PrinterName command

Hi folks,
I have been doing a POC (Probe of Concept) with a Bank to test SunRays
DTUs in a cashier area. The DTUs on windows sessions works perfect but a
I have a issue with the printers...
All the cashiers printers are "Centronics" so I am using a
ubs-centronics converter and it works very nice... but the printer is a
especial type of printer that has two output devices.
I mean a termal printer to print a ticket for the customer and a normal
matrix printer to print the ticket for the cashier...
From windows the test print output is correctly directed to the
especific printer output but the software of the bank is unable to
correctly route the print info to the correct printer device (Termal o
Matrix)
The cashier's software is looking for a LPT1 and that Epson printer has
a special driver that works like a print proxy so the output generated
from the bank's cashier software is sent to a LTP1 and prints the two
tickets if I made the test of the printer with a PC.
But in the case of a SunRay DTU I have to create in the windows
connector to devices (TS001 and TS002) and from windows everything
works nice but not with the cashier program...
Any advice will be very welcome!
Best Regards,
Randall
