-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I'm excited about this new feature for my WinXP home-based colleagues. No need for a complicated VPN client, no more giant hole in my firewall to open, cool indeed !
But, as usual, i'm thinking forward for a new way to use it. I've got a lot of outdated PC (P3,P4) used for LTSP (linux based Thinclient solution) with PXE boot, TFTP, Dl of bzimage of kernel ..etc to the gnome login screen. Instead of maintaining both solutions (LTSP+SRSS), i'd be happy to use only SRSS's one. But, i don't want to increase my workload by reinstalling WinXP on those diskless machines. Is it weird to think about a network boot solution (PXE) wich could load Sun Desktop Acces Client? I searched about network booting WindowsXP and found nothing simple and costless (Remote Boot Server for Windows 200X Server is far more complicated and expensive that my LTSP solution). Sorry for the noise if my question is too far from reality. Thanks for your answers. Best regards.
