Does anybody know how to detect/check if a DTU has been disconnected from the network?? (By a power failure, or network unplugged, or an axe through the screen (270s only ;-) etc. ))

The most reliable way: look at the DTU (and its STOP+N on-screen display, if it is able to show one).

From the server, you can only detect that a DTU doesn't respond, but you can't easily detect where the connection is broken. SRSS has no built-in means for that (except that it times out the DTU connection after a relatively long time with no message or response.)

Using the IP address you can use utquery - or simply ping.

Or how to get the IP address from the DTU/Terminal ID?? If I can do that I can run a utquery.

utwho -c or utwho -ca can help you get the IP, if you known the client ID (MAC address) or token.
