Hello Bryan,

There are several boxes around.
- USB anywhere from digi
- Belkin has also some USB over IP solution.
But you might want to checkout http://www.seh.de/
They deliver the most advanced and stable USB over IP solutions I have seen for lan and wan.

But as said before SRSS 4.2 should have better USB support and that might be sufficient for your setup.

Kind regards,

Ivar

Hello,

I remember a good conversation about a device to attach a USB equipment to a network making the USB equipment available to remote computers. Can anyone recommend a good brand for this type of device for use with Sun Ray, VDI, and Windows session running under VMWare ESX 4.

Has anyone ever used the software "USB for Virtual Environment" from http://wwww.usb-over-network.com with Sun Ray connecting to Windows in a VM?

I am researching ways to make USB devices (such as DVD Burners, Digital Cameras, and Scanners) usable in a Windows VM while having a Sun Ray 270 on your desk.

Thank you for your time.
