Hello Bob,
Unfortunatly SRSS 4.2 final release of 10 november still does NOT set
UTAUDIODEV en AUDIODEV on SXCE build 126.
If logged in as a normal user, the speaker (volumecontrol-icon) on the
bottom right is blocked with a red slash.
If logged in as root from a sunray, the speaker is fine but volume
control is controlling the audiohd oss 4 on the server instead of the
Sun Ray audio.
In both cases UTAUDIODEV and AUDIODEV are not set.
If I set them manually in xterm and start an audio application the audio
will play on the sunray.
Any clues?
What might be the differents between SXCE and the OSol build 126 you tested?
I use the default dtlogin.

I have installed SRSS 4.2 EA 2 also on SXCE build 125.
