I know Opensolaris has some cdrom/scsi problems.
I don't know how usb-redirect might interact with the OS to handle
remote disks.
But as far as I know there are no crdrom/scsi problems with Solaris 10.
So this can not be an issue in your case.

The SRS server is a clean install but the XP instance is from when I was
playing with EA2. I've run srs-winstaller but do you think perhaps
something from the EA2 components may be causing an issue?

couldn't really say. Burning doesn't work either which may or may not

related to this issue.
So anyone see anything like this? Also, anyone successfully burn a
cdrom
through USB redirection?
