Hello Craig, hi all, the Toshiba/TEAC USB Floppy Disk Drive PA3109U-1FDD that was reported as working by Craig Bender at http://tinyurl.com/yg67ksu (original URL is http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRS/USB+Redirection+ Peripherals+%28User+Tested%29?focusedCommentId=184757822) unfortunately does not work here on a new SunRay 2 DTU with the latest 4.2EA SRSS on Debian.
# tail /var/opt/SUNWut/log/utstoraged.log shows # 2009.11.16 20:59:56.877601 CET USB sub-class 0x4 not supported I bought the device from eBay following the recommendation on the web site. Is there anything I can do about it? Perhaps not and perhaps they had different series of the product. Mine is Toshiba branded. Guess I'll go now for the Sony recommendation - although I am hesitant as it was connected through a Sun Type-7 keyboard - or would it make no difference anyway if it were connected directly? Greetings, Andreas Heydwolff _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
