We have a number of Windows users who don't have administrator
rights to their machines, but who would like to run the new
"Sun Desktop Access Client 1.0" (SDAC - a.k.a Windows soft Sunray
client) to access our Sun servers.

Unfortunately, SDAC is bundled as a "setup.exe" file that these
users can't run.

My questions are:

1) If I install SDAC on a stand-alone Windows box, zip up the
installed files, and then transfer them to a directory on
the user's machine, will SDAC run properly? Put another way,
does SDAC rely on some interaction with the (pesky)
Windows registry that would prevent this from working?

2) If the answer to the above is "it should work", is there
any chance of getting a "non installer" version of SDAC
released much like FileZilla has an "installer" and
   "non installer" version.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Sean
