Looking for some ideas here.
running SRSS 4.2 on Solaris 10 sparc
I'm setting up a FOG to run in kiosk mode. In kiosk mode there will
be just a simple java gui run with two buttons, one "Windows" and second
"Solaris". When you click on "Windows" it runs sunray connector to our
Windows terminal farm. Click on "Solaris" and it runs utswitch to my
FOG B running in regular mode with Solaris login.
The Windows button works fine. It connects to our Terminal farm and
user can login. When user logs out the DTU falls back to my kiosk FOG to
present the simple gui options again. My problem is I cannot get this
same functionality to work when going to my Solaris FOG B.
When the user logs out of his Solaris session the DTU remains on FOB
B instead of falling back to my kiosk FOG. Things I have tried to force
a reset of the DTU:
1. put in utaction command in the /usr/dt/config/Xsession.d/
/opt/SUNWut/bin/utaction -d `/opt/SUNWut/lib/utload -r` &
This didn't work, as soon as you enter in your login and password
the DTU immediately resets and falls back to my kiosk FOG.
2. Tried adding the utaction command to the exit scripts for IceWM.
Didn't work here either.
Does anyone have any other ideas I can do to get the DTU to fall back to
my Kiosk FOG after you logout of of your Solaris session?
