We're running SRSS 4.2 on OpenSolaris 2009.06 x86 and do notice, that no user session is registered as usual, i.e. the output of the "last" command give us only root (SSH sessions) and reboot entries. On the other hand - "who" and "utwho" are working as expected. We're using Kerberos for user authentication, by inserting the appropriate line as follows:
... gdm auth required pam_unix_cred.so.1 gdm auth sufficient pam_krb5.so.1 gdm auth required pam_unix_auth.so.1 ...
