OK, at least that's still the gdm we're most familiar with.
Have you checked /var/log/gdm? What does 'gdmdynamic -l' report, and does it match the displays in /tmp/SUNWut/config/xconfig/Xservers (except perhaps for display 0)? Is /opt/SUNWut/lib/utgdmconfigpath reporting the correct directory that OpenSuSE is using for the gdm custom.conf?

Is the gdm custom.conf file properly instrumented by SRSS?

What does "gdmflexiserver --command VERSION" report?

Hey there,

I'm currently trying to install SRSS on an OpenSuSE 11.2 X64 Machine.
After solving some bigger issues (installing the correct JRE (32bit)), patching the Kernel, instaling the provided GDM...
Most things seem to work perfect. Except:

I get stuck with 26D on the DTU. The issue seem to be a problem with some of the scripts that are called after a terminal authenticates. No Xnewt is running (ps ax). On the other hand, I can't find any error in the logs (neither /var/log nor /var/opt/SUNWut/logs) When I run "/usr/X11R6/bin/Xnewt :11" manually, the X-Session shows up on the terminal (running e.g. "fluxbox -display :11" works perfect). The files in /var/opt/SUNWut/displays are also correct.

The only problem is an automated startup of the X-Server with a login-screen. And I don't really know where to look or how the process itself works (which daemon runs which script in which order and when)

Greetings,

Sebastian
