OK, I am going to try this one more time.

Has anyone had problems writing to a memory stick over a remote VPN
connection to a WTS via uttsc. Reads seem to work OK. And with
everything else being equal, I have no problems over a non-VPN
connection. Whenever I attempt to write to the "disk". I get a file not
found error message. Also, a new device is created in
/tmp/SUNWut/mnt/utkuxx/diskx. Every attempt to write to the disk
increases the disk name by 1. Starts at disk1, then disk2, and so on.
These devices also shows up immediately in Windows under the network
drive path. My connection path is poor. In that I have a packet loss
between 5-7% and a latency around 40ms. But that should not be a reason
for this problem. Everything else seems to work OK, except for the
general performance.

Thanks, Tom

Subject: problems with memory stick writes over VPN

I am having trouble with writing to or executing a program from a memory
stick over VPN only. I have no problems when the connection does not
involve a VPN connection. I seem to be able to read OK. I have not
noticed any other problems over VPN.

Solaris/SPARC 10 - u8
SRSS 4.2
SRWC 2.2
WTS 2003
Cisco vpn, activeidentity token

Thanks, Tom
