Right now  we are not using Smartcards but if they will help with the
screen resolution problem then that is a something we can look into. I'm
guessing but instead You use the card in a kiosk mode that changes the
resolution. Basically if you use the smartcard you get VDI with these
settings? If you don't then you get VDI normally?

I have never heard of screen scalers. I'll look into it. Although
Smartcard seem to be the cheapest way to go. Can you explain smartcards
and how it world work?

   Does your  screens  have desent scalers ?

   Very cheap  LCD's   have no Scalers   and rely  entirely on Windoze  
to scale  the image.
