SRSS v5 Support 32bit colour depth but, only with Windows Server 2008.
No. It supports Vista too. Basically if windows supports 32-bit color
depth ,
then uttsc too.
Thanks

Also, the 16 and 24 bit differnces may be change ajusting de desktop
resolution in sun ray (over 1024x768). Works fine with "auto
resolution" and Sun Micro or LG LCD monitors.

Hi all,
Been working with Sun Rays for 3 years now and this is the first time a
customer has pointed an issue out to me (and I've checked the issue at 3
sites, all the same)..
The Terminal Services session through a Sun Ray has a weird colour depth \
contrast issue when connecting to a 2003 server...
To explain.
I open a uttsc session with no real switches other than a USB mapping and
when I log in to Terminal Services, the Windows Task Bar seems to be a very
bright light brown colour. I open Word and the same is true of the menu bar
(it's so bright with a white desktop background that I can hardly see there
is a menu bar there at all)...
If I "steal" the same session back to my laptop the taskbar is grey (as
expected) and Word also looks fine..
Checking the colour depth, both sessions are displaying at 16bit. I've
tried increasing to 24bit but it made no difference.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Craig
