Only the SRSS subscription license model has stopped under Oracle.
RTU and support are still the same.
Since the subscription model worked well with Sun Ray service providers
I am hoping Oracle will add some hosting license for SRSS in the future.
That way the SRSS licensing will have the same licensing structure as
other Oracle products.

PS Since I am no Sun/Oracle employee and I can not see into the future.
I can only hope......

say Sun Ray and Sun X line of servers are officially dead?
Hints for this would be the change from the subscription licensing
model back to fixed user numbers, whether you use this user count or
not. That is quite expensive and management thinks of alternatives,
maybe Windows thin clients on native RDP basis *barf*.
That doesn't sound quite right, I'm fairly certain Sun Ray licenses were
and still are concurrent user based as opposed to Microsoft's TS CALs
which are user-based of the non-concurrent variety.
