Thanks for the hint, but that's not really an option since we want to
get rid of trunking our current 10/8 private network across the campus.
Additionally, we want to be able to deploy sun...@home scenarios without
the need of setting up VPN or similar.

For the sake of simplicity (and manageability) we will go for the
"classic shared subnet" option.
