Very much hoping someone can assist with this error message.
I have two Solaris 10 servers running Sun Ray Server 4.0 and the Sun
Ray VMware Connector 1.1 on each of them. When booting the Sun Ray
clients, I am able to obtain the VMware Connector login, but once I
try to loging using (known good) credentials on the domain, the error
message I receive is similar to the following:
"Error connecting to desktop:
/etc/opt/SUNWKio/sessions/vdm/.../uttsc/uttsc.conf: not found"
The actual file IS there.
Are you sure?.
The uttsc.conf file supposed to be there under /etc/opt/SUNWKio/sessions
but according to error message it is looking at
/etc/opt/SUNWKio/sessions/uttsc directory.
Thanks

Note: These are my personal opinions, nothing to do with my employer
I have access to two other identical Sun Ray servers (which were not
set up by me), and using those servers to connect to my virtual
desktops works just fine. I have searched the web high and low for
this specific error, including Sun's site and elsewhere, to no avail.
I have compared the good and not working SRSS servers using the Web
Admin GUI to compare all settings, and they look configured the same.
I have no access to SunSolve, so can’t download any patches, if
needed, so this environment is a real challenge.
Can someone who have experience with SRSS and VMWare View point me in
the right direction to solve this connection problem?
Thanks!
