Wow, I wish I had known this was an already identified issue a year ago.

You don't need to restart SRSS per se; the setting is automatically applied
to all newly launched or restarted X servers, so the setting will take
effect as users log out.

Yes.  The tech found existing CR 6896659.  There's a lot of CRs you can't
find on SunSolve.

I did the same and they were finally able to reproduce it.  I'm unclear on
the status of the fix though; last I heard was in February when an IDR for
SRSS 4.1 SPARC was offered.  I requested a 4.2 x86 IDR, but then things went
silent, potentially related to the Oracle transition.  Your e-mail has
prompted me to follow up with the tech
