Hi All, Using RHEL 5.3 + SRSS 4.2.
When i insert cd/dvd media it looks like gnome-mount(1) trys to automagically mount the media and all users get spamed (to their DTU) with a GTK popup with the following msg: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied : A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal") It looks like i could deal with this issue by tweaking /etc/dbus-1/system.d/hal.conf. How do other people deal with this situation ? Is there a "best practice" solution for this issue ? -Alex IMPORTANT: This email remains the property of the Australian Defence Organisation and is subject to the jurisdiction of section 70 of the CRIMES ACT 1914.
