Hi, we are using Sun Rays on debian mostly lenny and etch.
Why do we use that:
1. We are used to it.
2. debian is a very well maintained distribution, with almost perfect
upgrade mechanics.
We are deploying Sun Ray Software in Debian xVM domU based on
OpenSolaris dom0.
Wishes:
More curent X implementation
Xnewt calls xkb compiler in a strange way and gets the keyboards wrong
(at least on debian System). We have a corrected xkbcomp Version to go
around that issue.
Linux kernel modules are out of date, cannot compiled with recent
kernels.
Instead of testing the OS in every script a more "probe OS once and
source variables" approach would make life simpler.
