Thank you! That fixed our problem.

I hit exactly the same issue and ended up using a Zenity dialog to prompt for
the password and then passing this in the uttsc switch... We still see the
welcome flicker but no requirement to re-enter the password.

Subject: [SunRay-Users] Sunray connector strangeness

Hello,
We are using Sunray Connector 2.2, latest patches installed, that
is requiring use to enter in the password twice on the TS servers before
logging us in. Now I'm not sure if this is a connector problem or TS
problem so asking here for any in site.

Here is the command that is being run from our kiosk sessions:

/opt/SUNWuttsc/bin/uttsc -m -r sound:high -M all -F all -d ENGR_DOM -u
$username thinfarm.engr.colostate.edu

We are using DSN round robin for load balancing on our TS servers, which are 2008R2.
This is what happens. From the kiosk session users enters user name and then clicks the
Java gui button to switch to the approiate TS server farm. The Windows 2008R2 login
screen apprears. user selects their login name and then enters in their password. When
they hit return, you see breif flash of "Welcome" then it flashes right back
to the Windows login screen again. User select their login name and enters in password
second time. Now the user is successfully logged in. It is consistant that the user has
to enter in their password two times to get loggged into the TS server. We also verified
that the user has not been logged in twice to the TS farm.
Cases where the user switches to a specify TS server this doesn't occur. It
only happesn with our TS servers on DNS round robin load balancing.

Has anyone run into this same issue? Is this Sunray connector problem or a
problem with how we setup the TS servers with DNS load balancing?
