Those are the "Term" licenses you see. TTVI9-T03-NUP is a licence that allows
the customer to deploy the VDI software
for a named user for three years. These Term licenses do not include Support,
so they are different than the Subscription Licences that Sun had. They are
also subject to little or no discount at all.
If you plan to deploy a solution for four or more years, then these licenses
might not be right for you. If you are thinking about deploying something
temporary - say for 1-3 years, then these might save you money. While I have
yet to see anyone use these licenses, that doesn't mean they wouldn't be a good
idea in some situations.
