Hello Craig,
On your request:
I would like to see the personal harddrive available on all directories
since this is a very usefull feature.
It looks like this is only working with AD in 3.2. It would be nice if
this would work with Novell edirectory an OpenDS as well.
Kind regards,
Ivar

I wouldn't say "moving away", but we follow market demand and that's
what our customers have told us they'd like tighter integration with AD.
Please do feel free to pass on any of the require AD features you
think should work with other directories.

I also seem to have noticed a lot more "requires AD" in the release
notes. Does this mean that Oracle may be moving away from people that
use plain LDAP (ie. Samba+LDAP)?

Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] VDI 3.2?
Yes, yes, and no.
VDI 3.2 was released today.
Per the Release Notes
http://wikis.sun.com/display/VDI3dot2/Oracle+Virtual+Desktop+Infrastructure+3.2+Release+Notes
Oracle Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Software 3.2 (including Oracle
VDI Core, *Sun Ray Software 5 Patch 3*, MySQL Cluster 7.0.8a)
It contains the -03 version of the SRSS and SRWC patches.
HOWEVER...
It does not include the Updated version of the "Windows Tools" You
need to grab those from Sunsolve.

Also, PLEASE NOTE:
Passthrough authentication to vRDP Guests. For Windows you have to
run the VBox guest additions with the flag "/with_autologo" so don't
just run the guest additions via autorun.
For Linux, you have to manually configure the some things in the pam
files. I'm writing up some notes on that and how to seamlessly make
autologon work with AD. More on that later.
