Huh? I don't understand what you are looking for here. As far as the Sun Ray system is concerned, there is not much smart in smart card. All they need is to answer a few simple requests for static information, in particular a unique id or serial number. The Sun Ray won't do much with the card on its own without a server. It simply relays request messages from the Sun Ray server and returns the responses. So no smart card will 'look for a server' and neither will the Sun Ray DTU look for a server based on smart card data on its own. Instead you need to connect to a server first. On that server you can configure the "AMGH" feature to redirect the DTU to another server (group) based on the card token. If that is not what you are looking for, can you explain what you want to achieve rather than how? - Jörg -- Jörg Barfurth http://blogs.sun.com/joergb Disclaimer: I am employed by Oracle.
