So I'm used to seeing an directory like "IEEE802.<macaddr>" in /tmp/SUNWut/units for each DTU. Now I've got one that has disappeared, and neither resetting nor rebooting seems to make it come back. This is kinda critical for me as I'm symlinking into it to access the device node for a USB-attached printer.

This has always worked fine, but now that directory is gone and no amount of dicking will make it behave. And it's only for this one DTU.

Can anyone shed some light on this, or tell me how to cause that directory to be created and populated?

Oh yes, Ubuntu 9.10, SRSS 4.

          Thanks,
          -Dave
