Try lowering data transmission rate on scanner (keys per second, keyboard speed, or something like that), changing intercharacter delay (higher), and use it on "keyboard emulation" mode.
Sunrays does not support *any* usb input device, in keyboard emulation mode will work.

All, not having any luck getting our Datalogic QS2500 bar code reader working with Sun Rays. These work fine on Sun Desktop systems with the same OS (Solaris 10 - 10/09).
 
The scanners are a simple usb device that should act as any other input device. USB support is turned on via the Sun Ray admin gui.
