Does anyone know it this rdp problem has been solved in the just
released version 3.2.1 of Oracle VDI?

I have not had the time to investigate this further as you have done.
I would like to solve this also since I use the same work around as

mode, the desktop summary screen, guest operating system properties
doesn't show the IP adres of the VM they do show the vRDP port. This
seems to be related to the fact a user which is assigned to this
out-of-suspension image not able to connect via regular RDP.
Connecting to the image via vRDP shows that the vm does have an ip
address assigned but it somehow not populated in the desktop summary
screen.
To get the ip address populated i need to restart the VM then RDP
works as expected.
I'm now keeping all the vm's running which takes unneeded resources.
