No, not if you are using non-gui. Sorry didn't look at your snoop
Are you sure you don't have a dhcp server running, perhaps a Linksys
router that is being mistaken for a switch? If not, what is
192.168.1.1? It's what gave the Sun Ray the IP. I'd be fairly
suspicious of nothing else being on the network since 192.168.1.1 is the
default for a linksys and that 192.168.1.100 is the default starting IP
address for the DHCP range on a linksys.

Are you using GUI firmware that perhaps has an IP addresses statically

a stop+c if using a Sun keyboard or Ctrl+Pause+C on a non-sun keyboard.
I'm using firmware that shipped with Sun Ray. Ctrl+Pause+v shows:
SunRayP8
4.2_77_2009.10.19.17.01
(This unit has been on the shelf for a while. Firmware staged on my
server should be newer.)
Stop+c doesn't appear to do anything, nor does Ctrl+Pause+c. Should
there be some visible sign from the DTU when it sees that keystroke?

I have a DTU here (SunRay 270) which has somehow gotten stuck on the
idea that its IP address is 192.168.1.100; this in spite of the fact
that it's plugged in to a dedicated network with a Sun Ray server
network at 192.168.128.0/24 and no other devices present.
I know that the network is hooked up; snoop on the server sees traffic
from the DTU, like so:
OLD-BROADCAST -> BROADCAST DHCP/BOOTP DHCPDISCOVER
192.168.1.1 -> (broadcast) ARP C Who is 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.100 ?
192.168.1.1 -> BROADCAST DHCP/BOOTP DHCPOFFER
OLD-BROADCAST -> BROADCAST DHCP/BOOTP DHCPREQUEST
192.168.1.1 -> BROADCAST DHCP/BOOTP DHCPACK
192.168.1.100 -> BROADCAST DHCP/BOOTP DHCPINFORM
192.168.1.1 -> (broadcast) ARP C Who is 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.100 ?
Repeated reboots of the DTU have failed to make any difference. Is
there some kind of hard reset trick I can do? Or might I just have a
broken DTU?
Thanks,
