As a last resort (it considerably impacts security) try adding the -D

with this option enabled, the 44D disappears, and the user retrieve his session! the downside is that when somebody re-inserts the smart card, the gnome session isn't locked and everybody can access to the user's files.
Is it normal? Is it a feazture, or is it a problem on centos installation?
the gnome-screensaver is here, and it works. Why it is not activated when the user removes his smart card?

I did say that it impacts security. So it would be better, if you got loginGUI to work.

That said, it should lock the screen.

Please check the following:

- For every Sun Ray session there should be a process:
    /opt/SUNWut/bin/utaction -i -d /opt/SUNWut/bin/utxlock

- Running /opt/SUNWut/bin/utxlock should lock the screen. As utxlock is a script, you can try to figure out why it fails, if it does.
