All, this may be the a xdmcp or X issue but I thought I would start here. We have our Sun Ray systems configured to log every failed login attempt via /etc/default/login and /var/adm/loginlog. Works great with telnet/rsh etc.
However, we want to log failed attempts from the Sun Ray DTU's but can't seem to get it working. It's my understanding that the login process does this via syslog priority auth.debug which works for failed telnet attempts but not the inital login screen on the Sun Ray DTU. Solaris 10 10/09.
