I know that I can now reset a DTU via
/opt/SUNWut/lib/utload -r (thanks, Kent!).

But I have a problem: the utload script needs the session id and takes
this magic string from /var/opt/SUNWut/displays/* or
from /tmp/SUNWut/config/tokens/*.
I sometimes have the situation where a DTU is in the dreaded "26x" state
and the fix is:
  I invoke utsession -k,
  the user invokes Ctrl-Moon,
repeat if necessary (and sometimes it is necessary)

It would be great if I could do this without user interaction.

But at least after the utsession -k, the files
in /var/opt/SUNWut/displays/ and /tmp/SUNWut/config/tokens/ for this
DTU do no longer exist[1] :-(

echo "status"|utnetpipe still lists the DTU - but no session ids.

so my question: Is there another way to get the session id?
Is there a way to reset a DTU without knowing the session id?

Meik

[1] no, I have no tmp cleaner running. Of course there must be some
reason why the DTU ends in 26D in the first place. Any suggestions
welcome.
