That is native. New stuff in the upcoming release. Gotta love having an über-geek for a Senior Vice President. ;)

BTW, a Sun Ray 1 was capable of this back in 1999. Anyone remember the (Pixar?) video Paperclips turning into the Sun Bug?

Wow...is that using native SRSS or VDI with RCP? And is that on SR3 series?
I don't recall the 2 series being capable of that level of performance...

Subject: Re: [SunRay-Users] Full HD video ssh -X I don't understand

   just running mplayer on a remote server not just the local sunray
server to show that even that works pretty smoothly :)

ie [Sun ray] -> [Sun Ray server -> xterm -> ssh -X] -> [remote server
->  mplayer]  ->>>  sunray

I don't understand the description "using ssh -X from another sunray !"
Is this a Sun Ray as I know it or is this some home grown project were
you have installed an OS on the Sun Ray from which you do ssh -X?

Kind regards,

Ivar
