Hm, will Sun Ray now work in a "branded zone" or not. The other and easier
option for me would be granting a RTL for Sun Ray Server on Solaris on e.g ESX.
My management wants to have a clear cost structure till our planing in late
summer and the Sun Ray Server thing is one of the issues and I can currently
not plan, because I cannot guarantee, on which box it will run because of
public hardware tenders. As said before, it might be non-oracle hw, let's say a
HP 970 with 8 CPU in two different buildings would lead into additional 25.000
€ / year just because of Solaris on this box in e.g. 4 cores out ouf 32. This I
cannot argue at my management, I need some kind of solution here.

regards, thomas

I believe the problem always has been, and always will be the device tree.
These don't exist in zones, only LDOMS.
