Hello, I'm working on implementing SRS 5.2 under CentOS 5.6 to give users Linux desktops. So far, SRS runs without any issue. One thing I'd like to add is the ability to do xdmcp sessions. I've added "enable=true" under the xdmcp section in /etc/gdm/custom.conf, but it doesn't work. For some reason, when I connect via xdmcp, the Sun Ray PAM modules crash GDM (see the errors below). If I comment out the Sun Ray PAM modules, xdmcp works just fine. Has anyone seen this before and have some insight as to what the issue could be? I'm thinking about opening a ticket, but I'm not sure what kind of response I'd get since I'm on an unsupported OS (although it is one that *should* be identical to RHEL5/OEL5).
