Hello, We're a public library running XP kiosk sessions on Sun Ray 270 DTUs with Sun Ray server software 4.0 on Solaris 10 5/80 s10x_u5wos_10 x86, using the Virtual Desktop Connector 1.0 and VMware Client 2.5. When the virtual machines are reverted to the base snapshot, the Windows login screen pops up and staff login with a generic user account. Library users then log on to a time/print management client that runs on the Windows desktop.
Is there any way to make the RDP session login automatically avoiding the Windows login screen? The goal is to trigger a snapshot function in the virtual machine after a user has ended their session, and have the only login screen that the next user see be the time/print management client. We've got the VMware part figured out, but we're stuck on passing the user name and password with RDP. Any ideas? Teri
