After much digging, I did finally find this little tidbit (FYI, it's in
the Installation and Configuration Guide, under section 2.5 "Additional
Software Requirements"). "Mozilla 5.0" (which I assume means FF) is
supported only on Solaris. FF 3.0 is supported on Oracle Linux 5.5, and
FF3.6 is supported on Oracle Linux 5.6. Sorry, Oracle. This is
unacceptable. There is no reason why you can't just fix the CSS to be
standards-compliant for any web browser on any platform. I'd file a bug
report, but Oracle doesn't like that kind of thing.

It's in the release notes. Try FF 3.6.x.

Subject: [SunRay-Users] new problem: no table listings visible in web admin
Now that I've got SRSS 5.2 installed on my Ubuntu host, I went to check
on its configuration in the web admin. Much to my surprise, I can't see
any of the table listings for servers, sessions, or desktops. For
comparison, I went to look at my current server running SRSS 4.2 on
Solaris. I was just as surprised to see the same problem there. So
far, I have tested this in Firefox, Chrome, and Opera in linux, and
Firefox, Chrome, and IE in Windows. Of these, the only one that
displays the table listings is IE. Installed Java version in both Linux
and Windows is 6.26. Linux is 64-bit, but Windows is 32-bit.
I've been happily running SRSS 4.2 for months and the web console has
been working fine. I'm not seeing any errors in any of the browsers (a
couple of css warnings, but not for that section of the page), just
nothing displayed. Anybody else run into this problem? Is this a known
issue? Any workarounds?
Thanks.
