I am still looking for an alternative to the Logitech MX 518 mouse as our users want to use "an advanced logitech mouse" after switching from a Windows PC to a Sun Ray client.

I found the webpage with the USB peripherals list for Windows (see http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRS/User+Tested+Pages), however this list does not cover mice.

Could anybody recommend a (more advanced / expensive) logitech optical mouse which works on a Sun Ray client?

Yours,
Guido

I have the problem that the scroll wheel of a Logitech MX 518 optical mouse is not working on a Sun Ray client neither under Linux (CentOS 5.6, SRSS 5.2.1) nor on a Windows 2003 server (Kiosk mode, SRSS 5.2.1). The middle mouse button is recognised as such but not as a scrolling mouse button.

The mouse is working perfectly on an Ubuntu workstation.

Any chance to use this mouse with a Sun Ray client?
If not which comparable Logitech mice are know to work?
