Hello Bob,
Thanks for the script!
I don't do banks so don't worry ;-)
I am interested because OVDC is changing the whole Oracle VDI
proposition in the market.
We always had Sun Ray + SGD which is (if configured right) very secure.
But since there is no java on the Ipad, SGD won't work on the Ipad.
Now we have Sun Ray + OVDC + SGD. This introduces access to VDI from
more devices but also areas of overlap.
OVDC is a cheaper solution when compared with the pure Sun Ray laptops
from accutech and others.
Especially in combination with laptops and Ipads people already have. ;-)
But how do you manage this in less, more and very secure environments?
It is nice to see that there are options. I will have a look at them so
I can give some advice on how to set things up in a secure manner.
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Ivar

As Joerg and I pointed out, utpolicy is all about creating secure
access policies. If you're trying to prevent casual mis-use, but not
protect against determined abusers, then this might be an acceptable
approach. I don't want to see a front page NY Times story about this
having been used to protect a bank's infrastructure, OK? ;-)
