unfortunately it took me quite a while until I had it running smoothly
enough to get it published. But please find here the URL to a new HOWTO
page I just finished on the sunray wiki which explains how to install
SRS 5.2 on Ubuntu 11.04 with a custom third-party installation package I
just prepared for everyone:

Please read through the included README carefully and in case you find
something missing please release your changes like I did.
Using this package I was able to get SRS 5.2.1 running on two Ubuntu
11.04 servers without any issues so far.
