This is also easy to do with sloppy /etc/syslog.conf configuration.
Keep in mind that lower syslog priorities encompass higher ones, so for example 
if you had:
*.debug /tmp/foo
*.info /tmp/foo

You'd get duplicates of all log messages at "debug" level.
