Hi,
I am following the wiki for installing SRS 5.2 on ubuntu 11.04.
I have a fresh ubuntu Natty amd64 desktop installed.
At the 5th point i tried :
- open a console text mode
- stop the gdm
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop
- remove gdm package
sudo apt-get remove gdm
- install the gdm-2.20.10
sudo dpkg -i deb/gdm-2.20.10amd64
- restart gdm
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm start
At this point the graphic can't be restarted (i have errors about low
resolution, and authentifications problems ...)
Anybody already test that ?
