   Check out a post under the subject " VDI 3.2.2/ SRS 5.1.2 DIsconnected DTU 
sessions".  My issue was unicast packets causing spontaneous reboots on model 3 
units.  The network guy blocked unicast and the problem went away.  I haven't 
tried upgrading the FW yet.

But this could be the key here. I have seen the same behaviour with some or 
even all DTUs resetting at once. Nothing to see in the logs, nothing changed in 
the network. This was fixed with a firmware update (5.2.1 afair). Actually, 
this was still happening with SR3s until the most recent (5.2.1) firmware. You 
could try the new firmware on just a few devices and see if the issue is still 
occurring for them if you don't want to update all DTUs right now.

no, if a fragmented packet arrives, the IP stack in the DTU would reassemble 
the packet.
