I frequently see processes like dtlogin, uttsc-bin and zenity sitting at
the top of the prstat list consuming around 6% of a CPU for extended
periods of time, like 24+ hours. Other instances of these processes are
using around 0.1% of a CPU, according to prstat.
Anyone else see these?
I've been using 'kill -9' or 'utsession -k' as appropriate to remove
them, but the next day, they are back. Am I missing some dtlogin
patch(es) or something??
I know what the zenity is doing, but why is it consuming so much CPU?? I
would think it should be sleeping. It is soliciting location information
from the user. The DTU is in a classroom that is not being used.
