Upon boot I get a message stating another X server is already running would I like to start on another terminal, stating yes does give me a login window but when I login I get a background but nothing else, no menu bar on top of screen or on bottom of screen no way to logout or start any programs ?
Unfortunately, I can't give any specific pointers or commands at this moment, but the general idea would be to revise your X11 (Xorg) configuration and dedicate an available X11 display number to your system console, which would not overlap your Sun Ray (or VNC, or other X11 server) display reservations. Ideally you would offset the Sun Ray config to start from i.e. display=10; otherwise if you've preset SRSS to provide for 25 DTUs (default) you can set your console to display number 30 or so... Finally, you can try reordering your initscripts so that local X11 starts before SRSS and grabs the display it uses ;) Hope any of these vague ideas help, //Jim Klimov _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
