I do not think that anyone from Oracle will answer your question as this is against Oracle policy (if I understood it correctly).
I am also waiting for SRS support for Oracle Linux 6. Based on the release dates of the last major updates (SRSS 5.1 in October 2010, SRS 5.2 in May 2011) I assume it will not take too long until the next major version.
Maybe somebody from Oracle could say whether the release date of the next major version is close (without revealing anything about new features in SRS 6 ;-) ).
