Hi Karl,

"-x" is telling utaction to should run at the end of a session. "-k" is telling ssh-agent to kill itself (lol, I find that sentence humorous this morning)...Anyways, this is coming from 0100.SUNWut

But those are the only utaction processes? That seems odd.

Can you elaborate more on your custom setup?

What does the output of '/opt/SUNWut/sbin/utkiosk -e session' a show?

What does '/opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskdesc print -s <Kiosk Descriptor Name>' show.

Descriptor names on your system can be found by running '/opt/SUNWkio/bin/kioskdesc list -s'

Please do open a case though.

Can send ps -eaf of the utactions running. There was an issue, which I

If the ps does not show a -i (for initial connection) then the timer
won't start on the first disconnect because the utaction isn't
implemented until the second connect/disconnect.

Hi,

On OEL 5.6 with SR 5.2.1 and 5.2.5, I'm using a custom gnome session and
have found that the kiosk sessions do not seem to timeout after the
default 12000 seconds.

According to utkiosk:

In addition to the common session.conf settings, you can use
the KIOSK_SESSION_TIMEOUT_DETACHED setting to specify a
timeout (in seconds) after which a disconnected kiosk ses-
sion will be terminated.

I have not placed a service call yet. I'm wondering if someone has run
into this before?

Thanks
Karl
