Hi all,

The *only one* single significance annoyance for many of my R&D users is moving
between sunrays in their offices' and sunrays in labs. Specifically when moving
between say a single head monitor solution with one resolution to a dual-head
monitor solution with another resolution or even between two different single
head monitor sunray solutions with significantly different resolutions. The
result always tends to be panning of the display.

The only solution I have been able to find which only works with single head is
Bob Doolittle's utfit script see:
http://www.filibeto.org/pipermail/sunray-users/2009-February/011768.html

However, I have recently upgraded SRSS + GUI Firmware to the latest and greatest
5.3 and according to the release notes the aforementioned problem should be
solved
now and I no longer should have to use any more hacks, i.e:

"New auto-resizing features automatically adapt the users virtual
desktop display size when moving between devices."

However, from my testing, out-of-the-box I still get panning displays when
swapping (with
smartcards) between DTUs with varying screen resolutions.

Is there some magic command I have to run to make the new auto-resizing
features work ?

Thanks!

   -Alex
