Hi Friends My current setup is i connected 2 sun rays to my sun ray server (solars-10 x86) and i am getting solaris server login screen through Sun rays. how to connect and configure windows server to this sun ray server to access windows desktop through Sun Ray .?
You need to run an RDP client on the Sun Ray server and connect this client to your Windows Terminal Server (including XP, etc.) or a non-Microsoft RDP server (i.e. VirtualBox console). SRSS supplies its own client "uttsc" which is "supported" by Microsoft and Sun/Oracle, you can also use "rdesktop" which is opensourced and unsupported (and has a different feature set). Depending on the Windows version, you might need to fiddle with the RDP-server-side security settings and/or protocol options. If using Sun Rays to connect to Windows only (i.e. if you don't need the Unix desktop), you might be interested in using the "kiosk mode" to just execute the RDP client and have less overheads and/or interactive security-breach exposures on your SRSS server.
