Hello,
We have currently two server SRSS FOG on Solaris 10 VMs hosted by Oracle
VM. We don't have noticed performance issues compared to our previous
installation on physical servers. For info, we have about 70 Sunrays
running on that FOG.
Best Regards,
Vincent.

I have not tested SRSS servers as Oracle VMs, but we run our 4 server
SRSS FOG as VMware VMs on vsphere 5. We have about 150 Sunrays spread
out over 6 locations running on that fog and have experienced no
noticeable performance issues.
We gained so much flexibility and fault tolerance from the move to
virtual that even if there was a slight performance hit, we'd keep it
virtual and just add servers to the fog to compensate. Although, that
just wasn't the case. We kept the same number of servers before and
after the move and the users noticed no change at all.
