I saw the following note in the 5.3 admin guide:

The following Sun Ray Software features are not supported on a Sun Ray server
running the Oracle Linux
platform.
* Smart card services, including PIN login, email signing, and other smart card
related operations, are not
supported.

Am I correct in interpreting this to mean I cannot use a smart card to log in
to Windows from my TC if the SRS is running on Linux? That's how I read it.
Any experience to the contrary?

Did SRS on Linux *ever* support smart cards and only the latest 5.3 version
does not? I went back to some 4.2 documentation and found

Feature Differences Between Solaris and Linux Platforms
This page provides the list of SRSS feature that are not supported on a Sun Ray
server running the Linux platform.
PC/SC-lite for Sun Ray is not supported on Linux.

If PC/SC-lite isn't supported, that rules out using a smart card, no?

Thanks.

Scott
